Rapid-Deploy Gabion Bastion Barrier
A gabion bastion barrier is a flat-pack multi-cell unit - welded galvanized mesh lined with geotextile - that unfolds on site, pins to the next unit, and fills with whatever the ground provides: sand, gravel, crushed stone, even soil. One unit can be 10 or 30 meters of wall. A four-person crew with one loader closes 50 meters in an hour. That speed is the whole point.
The same units serve different markets under different names - defensive barrier, flood barrier, bastion wall, concertainer - but the product is always the same: mesh frame, fabric liner, site fill. What changes between projects is the height, the coating and how the units get stacked. We manufacture them all.

Zinc coating: standard hot-dip 40–60g/m² for dry inland sites; heavy zinc 200–280g/m² for general wet conditions; Galfan (Zn-5%Al or Zn-10%Al) 200–500g/m² for permanent water and salt environments. PVC sheath available over any of the above.

What is a "concertainer" - and is it the same product?
Concertainer is a brand-specific term for the multi-cell defensive barrier originally developed by Hesco. The generic product is a welded mesh and geotextile unit filled on site. We manufacture the same format under our own specification - same geometry, same deployment method, factory-direct pricing.
How fast can a wall go up?
Four people and one front-end loader can place, join and fill 50 running meters in an hour. Units arrive flat-packed - a 40-foot container carries 300 running meters of 1.0m-high barrier. Unfold, pin, fill. That is the entire process.
Which unit size do I need?
Flood walls typically use 1.0–1.37m units for speed; defense perimeters use 1.68–2.21m stacked units; coastal dune protection uses 0.61–1.0m low units; retaining walls use 1.37–2.21m. If you are not sure, send us the project brief - we select the unit and quote within 24 hours.
Can units be recovered after use?
Yes. Empty the fill, fold the unit flat, ship it to the next site. This is why emergency-stock buyers and rental companies order them - one stockpile can serve multiple deployments.
