Shipping & Quality Documentation for Korea

We handle the full export process from our Anping factory to Korean ports. Two main routes:

Busan Port: The primary entry point for construction materials into Korea. Sea transit from Tianjin or Qingdao is 3–5 days. Most of our Korean shipments go through Busan.

Incheon Port: Serves the Seoul metropolitan area directly. Slightly longer transit (4–6 days) but shorter trucking distance to construction sites in the capital region.

Documentation we provide: mill test certificates (wire tensile, zinc coating thickness), welding shear test reports, certificate of origin, packing list and commercial invoice. Korean customs requires these for construction material imports, and our documentation has been accepted by Korean importers without issue. Third-party pre-shipment inspection (SGS, BV, or Korean-appointed inspectors) is available on request.

Specifications Korean Buyers Commonly Request

Most Korean BRC orders follow a consistent specification pattern. The table below reflects what we most commonly produce for the Korean market:

Apartment complexes: Korean residential developments typically specify 1.8m BRC panels in galvanized + powder coated finish. Green is the default color for landscape integration. Matching pedestrian and vehicle gates are included in the package.

School perimeters: 1.5m height with 50 × 150mm mesh is common for elementary and middle school boundaries in Korea. The rolled top edge eliminates any sharp wire end - a safety point that Korean school inspectors check.

Highway boundaries: 2.0m panels with 75 × 200mm mesh, galvanized only, on round post systems. The wider mesh reduces wind load on long roadside fence lines.

Do your BRC panels comply with Korean KS standards?

Our galvanizing process follows BS EN 1461, which Korean authorities accept as equivalent for hot-dip zinc coating on steel wire products. We provide zinc thickness certificates with every shipment. If your project specifically requires KS certification on the finished fence assembly, we can arrange testing through a KS-accredited lab. Lead time for KS testing adds 10–14 days.

Can Korean buyers order panels only (no posts)?

Yes. Some Korean distributors prefer to source posts and fittings from local Korean suppliers and only import the BRC panels from us. We pack panels on steel pallets without posts. Other buyers order a complete package - panels, posts, clips, gates - all in the same coating and color batch. Either way works.

What is the typical lead time to Busan or Incheon?

Production: 15–18 working days for standard specs (galvanized + powder coated). Sea freight: 3–6 days. Port clearance and inland trucking: another 3–5 days. Total factory-to-site is typically 4–5 weeks. Korea's proximity to northern Chinese ports makes BRC fence import logistics straightforward compared to Southeast Asian destinations.

What is the MOQ?

One 20ft container, roughly 400–500 BRC panels (1.8mH × 2.5mW, 4.0mm wire). For trial orders, we can accommodate mixed configurations in one container - different heights, different mesh sizes - so a new distributor can stock multiple specs without committing to a full container of each.

Can we get custom RAL colors for Korean apartment projects?

Yes. Korean developers sometimes specify non-standard colors to match building facades. We powder coat in any RAL shade with a minimum of 100 panels per color. For consistency across a large apartment complex, we recommend ordering the full project quantity in a single powder batch - different production days can show a slight shade difference under strong sunlight.
